Have you ever seen the Picture Files?

Brent Wick just told me about a little known but glorious resource at the Multnomah County Library called the Picture Files!  It's a huge archive of pictures cut out from magazines, discarded books, calendars, and other resources.  They are sorted by category.  You request a topic and they will give you a folder to pick through.  You can check out up to 50 images at a time!  I heart the library big time.  Ask at the Information desk for help with the Picture File.  And if you like this service, please fill out a comment card to tell them so because I hear that this resource is under the threat of termination and that the librarians have to really fight for it so they wont shut it down.  Here is a beauty I checked out from there yesterday...
