LIFTED Art Benefit Auction this Friday at W+K

I just donated a couple of paintings to this benefit art auction that happens this Friday from 6-9pm at the Wieden + Kennedy Gallery in downtown Portland, OR to help Blake Britton and his family.
Blake Britton is a Portland based sculptor, artist, production designer.

He recently was diagnosed with brain cancer and, in May, is expecting his first child.  His artist friends and peers from New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Portland have rallied around him donating work for the L I F T E D exhibition auction.   A one night only event at the Wieden + Kennedy gallery.

Feast & Famine Art

I illustrated 5 local potato farmer's quotes for a special event last night at the Portland Art Museum in association with a current exhibit called Feast & Famine.  Jason Sturgill designed and printed beautiful placemats for the table and he also printed my illustration.  Here is a photo from last night showing the prints on the table and also the original illustration in its digital form.  Thanks so much to Michelle Swinehart for organizing such a great event!
