Family Portrait Quilt

I just came across these pictures.  I was commissioned to make a family portrait painting in 2007 for my friend to give to her momma for Christmas.  But THEN her momma took the painting I made to an amazing quilter in Virginia who turned it into a quilt!  I absolutely LOVE this quilt!!!!  I really wanted to go meet the quilter and apprentice with her so I could learn to turn paintings into quilts like her but it hasn't come to be so far..
